The Armory Foundation
The owner and leadership team at The Armory created The Armory Foundation in 2018 with the intention of finding unique ways for this historic venue to support local communities in the Twin Cities and surrounding metro area.
The Foundation’s assets will grow with every event at The Armory.
The Armory Foundation’s philanthropic focus is cultural programs and initiatives that contribute to the vitality of the community as a whole. Specific areas of interest include Arts & Culture, Community Development & Social Services.
Key goals are outlined below, but not limited to:
- Supporting the availability and accessibility of the arts for underserved youth, communities and schools.
- Assist young people and adults develop skills in music, arts and entertainment that lead to long-term employment and economic self-sufficiency.
- Supporting causes around the arts, youth, education, social justice and programs that strengthen communities through awareness building, advocacy and innovation.
The Armory Foundation seeks to invest in people, programs and initiatives that further it’s mission. Current funding initiatives and grant proposals are by invitation-only and the Foundation is not able consider unsolicited requests.
If you are a performer or artist and you would like to support the Armory Foundation’s 501(c)(3) mission to positively impact communities in Minnesota through music and youth based initiatives, we are accepting donations in the form of signed memorabilia and other items of value.
